Thrift Shop

the Thompson Community Center we have a local thrift shop. The popularity
of this shop has grown so now it is located in two areas of the facility
and encompasses more than five thousand square feet of space This is
large operation, run entirely by a small, dedicated group of volunteers
directed by Mildred Bannan. On average, this dedicated group processes
more than 300 pounds of clothing and other donated items every day!
During October to May, the Thrift Shop opens the basement warehouse for special Trash & Treasure and Bag Sales to coincide with our Flea Market hours. A must-see for those looking for great bargains! The Thrift Shop is run entirely by volunteers, and we never have enough of them. If you can donate a few hours of your time for a good cause, print and fill our volunteer form
