Thompson Community Center is located in Union, Maine. We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers, aiming to provide community services to our town and at the same time maintain solvency.
We have a large Gym suitable for many activities, including theatrical (our large stage makes it very attractive), sports, dances, birthdays, seminars, exercise classes and anything else needing a large occupancy. Many different size rooms are available to rent or short/long term lease at very competitive prices.
Some of our ongoing activities include Saturday Night Dances in our gym, set with tables and a large dancing area. The Snack Bar stays open to provide food & beverages of the best quality. We try to bring you many different local bands offering Rock & Roll and Country music. The dances usually run from 8 pm. to midnight. On occasion, we have dances for young people of all ages to the tunes of Disk Jockeys. On other occasions we schedule famous comedians, like Bob Marley, who provide a full night of laughter and enjoyment for all. Special activities include Tera's Scrap Booking enjoyed equally by many people from Union and other places.
We also hold a Flea Market with over 90 tables the first Saturday of every month from October to May. Our Snack Bar is available for all events and offers a wide variety of treats for everyone's tastes. Our newly renovated large Thrift Shop is open Monday-Saturday 10-2.

There is a lot happening at TCC besides Saturday Night dances and Flea Markets. Swan's School of Gymnastics, the new and improved TCC Thrift Shop, Martial Arts, are just a few of the activities offered here. Come check us out!

The Thompson Center is all set up for the new program at Shaw's. All you have to do is go online HERE and under shoppers sign your card up to link with the Thompson Community Center. This is the number it will ask you for: 49001018278. A percentage of your shopping total on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday's will quarterly be given to the Thompson Community Center.
